Paranormal Protection Agency (Paranormal Protec. Conia CLCD1930DSD: 6 questions and 5. My conia lcd clcd1960dhd power on but remote control not working even. I have a Conia TV with built in DVD 24' it keeps.

Problem is (apart from it being a Conia), I can't play Region 4 DVD's. However CDs play fine. I've contacted the Conia Service Centre – Very helpful. But they say the only way this unit can be made zone free is to upgrade the software. They don't have the licence to apply software upgrades. Also, apparently there's no code hack for this model. Medical Physiology Boron Torrent Pdf Architect. Download Ms Dart 8 Iso + Wim X64 Free more. So wondering if anyone knows of a way around this or where to find the software?

BTW, I bought the unit 2nd hand online. And the return period has expired before I found out it can't play Region 4 DVDs. Thanks in advance for any help.

Was at the time the only 19' with DVD on LHS 12volt Digital (SD only) TV on the market, paid $599! AS for the Conia brand no I would not buy one again although it was fixed (the DVD) under warranty (took nearly 4 weeks) there were too many arguments with Pebble QLD to the extent that we personally returned/picked up it directly to Pebble in Brisbane (125ks each way) for the repair as I was not going to argue over the phone etc. As the complete unit is still working I am getting a 12v HD STB to now get the new HD channels & also hopefully improve the digital reception as well rather than the more costly route to replace it with a new 19' or 22' HD 12v DVD TV when it is still working OK. + Have owned this TV for 3 1/2-4 years in our motorhome has the DVD player on left side which is what we needed. Not a bad picture but have seen better & is still working OK but there are much better & now cheaper 12volt DVD/TVs on the market now - Kogan. 12volt power for caravan/motorhome use. Hopper 3. Easy to set up & scan for both analogue & Digital channels & the DVD is a bonus.

- I don't think the LCD screen is of that good a quality & the SD digital tuner is not that good for mobile situations as in a lot of places cannot get anything but the digital SBS stations??? The DVD stopped working after about 9 months replaced with a new version but when returned to Pebble they wanted to replace the compete unit with someone elses refurbished unit, which we refused to accept. They said the DVD players were suspect from the start & replaced it with a new version which has worked OK since. Hasn't got a Samsung panel as we were told at WOW when purchasing it. Also like other reviewers the sound volume is not that good especially when raining. + This model is ideal for the caravan. Digital TV is being rapidly deployed to many country areas and the Conia is breeze to set up in a new area when we stop.

It also has a DVD player built in which means the caravan doesn't need a rat's nest of cables to connect everything or 3 remotes instead of 1. It also runs off 12V DC (around 4 amps) which means you can run it off battery power. - Volume was a bit on the low side.

Had trouble hearing it when we had heavy rain on the roof of the caravan - in fact I ended up using the subtitles option! I would also like to see an audio out option to plug into external amplifier/speakers.

Hi I am afraid I can't be much help, but the Conia 19' TV that we had in our motor-home has since left our possession but we did have problems with the DVD player shortly after purchasing it. It was sent back to the Distributor where they replaced the DVD player itself with an updated version, they said it was a fault with the DVD player itself.

Suggest that you look around for a New TV/DVD combo as they are not worth fixing. We replaced ours with a Kogan 22' model & have since brought 2 other Kogan TV/DVDs as well & had no problems with any.
