For a while now, I have been experiencing awful textures and really low graphics settings with Assassins Creed III. The game used to play perfectly, and I was able to change in-game graphics the way I wished. However, suddenly, now I’m stuck with horrid graphic quality and whatever I do, the graphics continue horrible. I tried changing the graphics using the main menu, but even thought I change them they continue to be very low quality. I tried changing the ini file and I tried altering the nvidia Control Panel settings, but it doesn’t alter the in-game graphics, and they stay in the lowest setting possible. I have an Alienware M14X, with Geforce GT 555m Intel Core i7-2630QM 2.00GHz, 8GB RRAM.
The game used to play perfectly and suddenly this happened. After the issue, I have already updated all possible drivers (nvidia, intel, bios, etceverything), I tried reinstalling the game, I`ve tried disabling start-up programs and I’ve tried checking the “Disable display scaling on high DPI settings” box, but nothing has changed. I have no solution to this problem, and I have spent literally hour trying to fix it. I would really like to continue playing the game, so could someone please help me with this?
Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you so much.
